General Self-Defense Training (Level 1)
This program is designed for individuals looking to get fit (strength and conditioning) while learning the valuable skills of self defense. The training will be fun but intense and the methods are designed to prepare you for practical street encounters, and to help you get out of threatening situations quickly with little or minimal injury should the need arise.
Generally, every month the training syllabus will be split into 4 parts weekly.
The areas that JF will cover will span into the following parts. They are:
- striking techniques
- basic grappling and ground defense
- escapes techniques (e.g. body, hand grabs, head locks, and chokes)
- joint locking and restraining techniques.
There will be light sparring and simulations drills.
Risks, situational awareness and self defense fundamentals are also designed in the syllabus and will be covered accordingly.
GENERAL SELF-DEFENSE TRAINING (LEVEL 2)
Programme Outline:
- Enhancement of fundamentals and techniques learnt in Level 1
- Full contact sparring and simulations
- Defense against weapons (knife, gun, stick)
- Learning how to use the knife and stick to defend yourself
- Close quarters confrontations
- Pressure points
- Defense against multiple assailants
- Strength and conditioning
PERSONAL SAFETY AND AWARENESS WORKSHOP (3.5 HRS)
Target audience: Banks, companies, leisure groups, hospitals, security agencies, schools and business organizations.
This workshop comprises of 2 parts. The first half will dive into the soft skills aspect i.e. knowledge-based, the DOs and DON’Ts when travelling, driving safety habits, hotel safety, general safety and security awareness. This workshop will also enhance your awareness to observe how to use the environment for self-defense.
The second half will go into the physical aspect of practical self-defense like escapes from chokes, body and arm grabs, blocking techniques, etc. You will also learn how daily household items can be utilized to become effective tools for self-defense.

- Mon: 7.00pm – 8.00pm (General group class)
- Wed: 7.00pm – 8.00pm (Women self-defense)
- Wed: 8.00pm – 9.00pm (Family self-defense)
- Sat: 8.30am – 9.30am (General group class)
- Sat: 9.30am – 10.30am (Advance group class)
- Sun: 10.30am – 11.30am (Advance group class)
- Sun: 11.40am – 12.40am (Family self-defense)
Course Fees:
Adult fees (20 years and above)
- $130 for a block of 4 sessions.
- $360 for a block of 3 months (12 sessions) plus you get ONE extra session free.
- $1080 for a block of 9 months (36 sessions) and you will get FOUR sessions free. Plus, you will get ONE free personalized session of 1 hr. worth $90 with the Trainer.
Kids/Teenagers (19 years and below)
- $90 for a block of 4 sessions.
- $240 for a block of 3 months (12 sessions) plus you get ONE extra session free.
- $720 for a block of 9 months (36 sessions) and you will get FOUR sessions free. Plus, you will get ONE free personalized session of 1 hr. worth $90 with the Trainer.
For ad hoc and walk ins, the fee is $40 per 1 hr. session.
For personalized training sessions, kindly speak directly with the Trainer.
Terms & Conditions:
- For a block of 4 session, you have 5 weeks to complete the block.
- For a block of 12 sessions, you have 15 weeks to complete the block.
- For a block of 36 sessions, you have 44 weeks to complete the block.
- The free personalized session will need to be completed within the first 12 weeks.
You are to inform the Trainer in advance (1 day before) if you cannot make the session failing which the session is counted. If you are on medical leave on the training day, it is accepted provided you keep the Trainer updated prior.
